ST. GEORGE, Utah – Senior outfielder Brett Adams (Sandy. UT/Alta HS) added to his legacy in the history books at Dixie State College by earning Third-Team All-America honors from Daktronics. Adams is the first Red Storm player to be named the prestigious honor since the program transitioned to Division-II in 2007.
Adams hit .423 in 50 starts slugging 17 home runs and knocking in 64 RBI winning the DSC Triple Crown. He topped the Pacific West Conference in slugging percentage, home runs, runs scored, and RBI, and tied for second in walks with 29.
The paltry stats earned him a spot on the Pac West 1st-Team and conference co-MVP status. Adams was also named to the Daktronics All-West Region 1st-Team, nominating him for All-American consideration.
He was the only Pac West representative on the All-America list.
