Softball Walk-on Tryouts Announced

DSC SOFTBALL -- Dixie State Softball Walk-on tryouts will be held on Wednesday
September 8th and Thursday
September 9th from 6 pm to 8 pm. The tryouts will be held at Karl Brooks Field on the campus of Dixie State College, home of the Red Storm softball team.
To try out for the team. you must do the following;
1. Let Coach Randy Simkins know that you are interested by email at rsimkins@dixie.edu and provide NCAA Clearinhouse ID#.
2. Attend Physicals on Wednesday September 1st at 4:00 PM at the Burns Arena. The cost of the physical is $30. All athletes at Dixie State College have to have a physical performed by one of our doctors, so even if you've recently had a physical, you will still need to attend and get another physical.
3. Attend a mandatory tryout/NCAA compliance meeting. (location date/time of meeting will be announced at physicals)
4. You must be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse. www.ncaaclearinghouse.net
5. You must have proof that you are currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at Dixie State College.
6. Fill out and turn in your tryout form, along with a copy of your high school transcript and ACT or SAT test score at the Physicals on September 1st. (You will get tryout packet at time of physicals.)
THE ABOVE ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED IN ORDER FOR YOU TO TRYOUT AND THERE IS NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS.
