Dixie smothered Salt Lake with a 12 hit attack, scoring five runs in the third and nine in the fourth. The game was called after five via the ten-run rule. Salt Lake led 1-0 until the Rebels unleashed. Dixie did it primarily with singles, as the only extra-base hits were a pair of doubles by Dallas Pollaro and one by Dan Polhamus. Pollaro had three hits in the game. Jake Jordison, Chris Nelson, and Polhamus had two apiece. Chris Martinez went the distance on the mound to get the win. Dixie advanced to Saturday's title game with the lopsided victory.
