Salt Lake advanced to the title game with an 8-6 win. The Bruins led all the way, as they got out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Corey Hansen and Kelly Peck singled in runs to spark the rally. In the fifth, Chris shelton and Brandon Biesinger singled in runs to make it 5-1 for Salt Lake. In the sixth, jake Abbott stole home, and Hansen singled home another tally to put the Bruins up 7-2. Treasure Valley rallied in the seventh, getting four runs to trim it to 7-6. Levi meseberg walked with the bases load to get the first run of the inning home. Brad Ross then doubled to plate three more. In the eighth, Evan Hoge hit a solo homer to give Salt Lake the final two-run advantage. Ryan Riesbeck threw six-plus innings to get the win, with releif help from Mike Moon.
