Summary: Dixie State jumped on Ricks starter Regina Molifua for six runs in the first inning to cruise to a 7-0 win. Tiffany Burt, Keisha Namba, and Cassity Knapp each drove in a run, and Dusti Roberts ripped a two-run double to key the rally. Becky Shupe tossed a two-hit shutout for Dixie State.
Dixie will play Treasure Valley at 11:30 Saturday morning. The winner will earn a chance to play Utah Valley for the title at 2:00 PM, but must beat the Wolverines twice.
